Capistrano is a 24-bed residential recovery center in Bakersfield dedicated to helping women overcome substance use disorder in a safe and supportive environment. With stays ranging from 30 to 90 days, Capistrano provides structured living paired with daily programming to help women rediscover themselves and chart a new path forward.
Women gather each day for group discussions focused on anger management, relapse prevention, goal-setting, and family reunification. After-hours support meetings are also offered, helping residents stay connected and committed around the clock.
The facility includes a dining area, shared kitchen, and comfortable bed accommodations to create a home-like atmosphere during treatment. Capistrano is more than just a place to stay; it’s a place where healing begins, supported by compassionate staff and a sense of community.
After completing their initial treatment, women who maintain their commitment to sobriety may continue their recovery in our 24-bed sober living home.
